Continued exploring Nashua today. Wanted to get to Amherst, but it was getting dark. Nevertheless, reportedly, over 1000 calories burnt in the course of 17.64 mile ride. Feels fantastic.

Nashua is truly beautiful town, things you see while walking or cycling that are never noticed when driving through the streets on the car for years.

Looks like I found a great android app for cycling and working out in general called SportyPal, should start using it on regular basis. Here is today's run around Nashua, was cut short by rain:

Today got my first normal bicycle — Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disk for $520, hard tail, all disk brakes. The guy who was selling it, on craigslist, said it was barely ridden, two or three times. I wasn't too optimistic about it, but when I saw it, it was truly essentially brand new. So I am quite happy with this purchase. Equivalent brand new is $770.
