Where do all the hours go?

"

I've discovered quite interesting web/social service that sits in your tray and tracks what software and web applications you use and how much time you spend doing it — wakoopa.com.

At the time I installed it on my work laptop and home desktop (that is mainly used as home entertainment), I didn't realise how insightful it will become in representing, to me, what I do online; particularly, how many precious hours wasted on such things as facebook, twitter, and so forth. Although likely not very accurate, it still shows a good general trends picture in my opinion.

There's always times when you await on something to compile or a sandbox build for instance. So you could sit idle awaiting that for few minutes at a time. Why not check twitter? Or facebook? Or perhaps reader.google.com? Wakoopa simply shows, among other things, how many hours one could accumulate from such little visits!
